Job Description:
Required Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience (Advanced Degree Preferred).
• A minimum of 8+ years of SAP Basis administration or IT related experience.
• Sound knowledge of Unix (Solaris), Database (Oracle) administration, scripting and network architecture (Windows, Novell).
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with SAP installations and upgrades, system landscape, client strategy, TMS, CCMS, SAPGui, SSO, SAP Security architecture and tools.
• Working knowledge of SAP ABAP Workbench and IMG, Business modules in SAP.
• Know-how and exposure to System Refresh/Copy, Backups restore/recovery including Disaster Recovery, Server sizing, consolidation and High Availability.
• Operational knowledge and skills in Wintel environment and utilities.
• Candidate must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, fluent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must demonstrate integrity and strong work ethic and commitment.
• Must be proactive, self-motivated, disciplined, and do a good job in knowledge sharing, and documenting.
• Experience with SAP BW, Portal, Solution Manager and SAP xApp Emissions Management (xEM).
• Experience with SAP ALE, Workflow, Business Connector, Dazel for SAP, Infoshuttle,Vertex (Quantum Sales & Use Tax for R/3), BMC Control-M, Patrol for SAP, MaxDB, SQL Server, Solaris, Vantive.
• Understanding of SAP NetWeaver Products and Architecture, J2EE technology components.
• Project Management Certification (PMP) and/or extensive participation in full life-cycle IT projects and implementations.
