Description: GENERAL SUMMARY

Primary roles are to maintain/create paper claim forms using GE (formerly IDX) Flowcast Claim Form Generator, manage GE Flowcast Pricing Module, function as primary GE Security Plus administrator, and provide GE Flowcast end-user support. Candidate will analyze data and recommend appropriate and optimal setup/configuration of paper claim forms, fee schedules and user security setup to accomplish business goals and improve operations, as well as be involved in software upgrades and dictionary maintenance activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Analyze payer requirements, rejections and front-end edits to optimize claim form data and edits using GE Claim Form Generator.
Maintain, create and optimize all fee schedules using GE Flowcast Pricing Module.
Manage GE Security Plus application including users, security profiles and security categories.
Track and document system changes and support issues using UCPG Support Desk software.
Follow and enforce UCPG change control policy.
Provide end-user support to GE Flowcast users.

OTHER FUNCTIONS

Create DBMS queries, import results into Access and create custom Access reports.
Maintain GE Dictionaries.
Create TES edits and PCS workfiles.
Serve as emergency back for daily charge and claim file processing. Involves using PGP, FTP and GE Flowcast TES and BAR applications.
Create procedural, technical and training documentation as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field or the equivalency in education and work experience.
One year structured query language (SQL) experience required.
One year application support experience required.
Two years experience with GE Flowcast product preferred.
Two years medical billing experience preferred.
Knowledge of HIPAA preferred.
