Skills:
Motion Control Hardware Engineer
Responsible for design of motion control electronics esp. motion control boards and integrated systems for use in semiconductor automation. In detail familiarity with PMD DSP motion processors, Xilix PLD, and related design experience is mandatory for the position. Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years related experience is required.
Required Skills/Responsibilities include:
* Design of motion control boards and systems with application to robotics
* Ability to design analog and digital circuits, power supplies, motion control data acquisition, and designing for EMC considerations.
* Skills on distributed motion control systems
* Execute conceptual designs, detailed design, and release of products to manufacturing.
* Knowledge of grounding, shielding and system noise immunity techniques
* Implement design ideas into actual products. Researches, designs and tests electronic circuits, products and systems by applying the principals and techniques of electronic engineering.
* Ability to perform logical problem solving and analysis, establishing root causes and critical relationships of cause and effect.
* Evaluate system designs for cost and manufacturability performance targets.
* Ability to deliver technical presentations in support of product proposals and engineering design reviews.
* Supervises launch and pilot runs of new products, working closely with Production, ensuring quality specifications are being met; works as a liaison between Production and Engineering for resolving electronic-related problems.
* Proficiency in using electronic design tools such as OrCad, AutoCAD, Xilix PLD design tools
* Reviews Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) to determine validity and solutions to product problems; generates Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) in order to document revisions and reworks on existing products.
Plus Skills
* Ability to perform technical research and give reliable advice on difficult engineering problems.
* Ability to mentor and lead
