Description: The candidate should have at least 6 years of working experience in the Layer 2 and Ethernet switching development environment. Learning fast and coming up to speed to handle complex projects in new technologies is essential. The candidate is expected to be a team player with excellent verbal and writing communication skills.
Requirements include mastery in most of the following:
Proficiency in C and object oriented programming methodologies.
Embedded Ethernet switch device drivers
Low level board bring up
Intimate knowledge of RSTP and UDLD protocols
Ability to design and implement Layer 2 protocols
Rate: 50-60, Job Type: Contract, Total Exp: 6-8 years, US Exp: at least 2 years, Start Date: Imm, Duration: 6 Months, Number Of Openings: 1, Location: Silicon Valley
