Description: JOB SUMMARY
This position is a contract position to help the chief Siebel developer execute development work in Siebel- screens, fields, views, compiles, adding additional functionality, Siebel repository compilation and change management. This position may include being a liaison between the user community and IT business applications. This would include understating company business practices, helping users define requirements, and designing solutions to solve requirements with Information Systems.
Must be strong with the following:
•2-3 years experience in Siebel development, including Siebel 2000, EIM, Siebel Tools, Workflow
•5+ years of systems/software programming activities in a business environment. Comprehensive knowledge of software applications.
•Experience in Siebel system administration: Siebel servers & tasks, gateway, and enterprise configuration, remote access, users, responsibilities, positions, LOVs, Queries.
•Experience in VBscripting required.
Pluses:
•Siebel certification extremely helpful. •SQL Server database administration experience extremely helpful.
•Windows 2000 server administration and programming/development extremely helpful.
•Data quality software experience very helpful: First Logic, Group 1, Trillium, etc.
•Great Plains experience is a plus.
•BS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical or business degree, or related experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
•Perform hands on programming to make enhancements, updates, and repairs to most specifically the Siebel environment, including the design, coding, and unit testing of Siebel applications applets, views, screens, and code.
•Manage the repository migrations of configurations and changes from development, to testing, and then roll out to the user environment.
•Perform system administration duties as required on various file servers.
•Definition, documentation, and adherence to version management procedures, workflow and configuration maintenance of the Siebel software.
•Develop procedures and standards for Siebel CRM Development and Administration.
•Provides Technical advice and consultation to company users, as well as technical resources in other departments.
•May assist with the ongoing software maintenance on other internal business systems, including Great Plains, Nolan, First Logic, Filemaker, 4D, and other misc systems.
