What does 'MyAarzoo' mean?
MyAarzoo means 'my desire/wish/yearning'.

Why should I use MyAarzoo?
MyAarzoo is a free, fast and reliable local classified resource. MyAarzoo is built on a scalable system designed to handle thousonds of ads as well as users. The site is free from third party ads, pop-ups and therefore our website presents best user experience forour users.

How do I post a free posting?

Go to the MyAarzoo homepage. Select the city in which you want to post a posting and then click on the Post an Ad button located at the top right hand corner.
Select the category (e.g. Jobs, Housing etc) and sub-category for the post.
Select the sub-region (e.g. South Bangalore) and neighborhood for your posting's region. If you are not sure about the the neighborhood or it's not listed select I'll add my own.
Fill in the subject and a detailed description in the body field.
Type in your email address in the Your email Address field and select one of the three options available.
- Use my email - The email address you provided will be displayed in the Reply-to of posting.
- Anonymous - Your email addresses won't be displayed. Instead system will create a temporary email-address and will display it in the Reply-to (e.g. anon-xxxx@MyAarzoo.com). When our system receives a message on this temporary email address, the message will automatically be forwarded to your real email address.
- No email - No email address will be visible in the Reply-To. Be sure to provide another way to contact you such as a telephone number or alternative email address.
Click on the Continue button and you will be presented with a new page. Enter the word displayed in the blue box, in in the field on the bottom of the page and click on the post button.
You will receive an email with a link. You must use this link to confirm your posting before it is 'activated' on MyAarzoo.
If everything looks good, click activate.
Once activated, your posting will appear on the site within 5 minutes.
Keep your email, because you can use the link later to edit (as many times as you want) and delete your posting.

How can I edit my posting?

To edit or delete a post, go back to the email that you received from MyAarzoo for confirmation. Click on the link in the email, and it will display the MyAarzoo publishing web page.

To edit, click on the edit button. Make any changes that you want to the subject and body and then click on the update button to publish changes.

How can I delete my posting?
You can delete a posting via the publishing link.

Global Category
'Matrimonials' and 'Contract Jobs' categories are global category type. Any ad posted under these categories are visible from any of the community pages. For example, a matrimonal ad posted in Bangalore community will be visible from Delhi, Mumbai and other community pages.

Can I add http links to the post?
Just add the URL as it is (starting with http://) and it will be converted to clickable link. Also any text like 'www.example.com' will also be converted into a clickablelink.

Can my post contain html content?
Absolutely. On the posting page, paste the html source page starting just after '<body>' tag to just bfore '</body>' tag into the 'Body' section.

How do I repost my posting?
You need to submit a new posting.

How often can I post?
One posting can be placed in one region in one category.

How long will a posting be active?
For at least 60 days.

Can I add images to my post?
Yes. You can add upto 4 images. You can also add images from other sites ( free image hosting sites) using the <img src=http://www.website.where.my.image.is.com/my_file_name.jpg> html tag in the body of the posting.

How can I post anonymously and still receive responses?
We anonymize your email address and forward responses to you.

Do I need to register in order to post a posting ?
No. However, users are required to register if they want to post a topic to any of the discussion forums. See the forum FAQ to learn about how to register, view and post to forums.

Do you charge for postings?
No.

How can I edit my posting?
The publishing email includes a url that allows you to edit your posting. Remember to keep this email!

What type of postings are not allowed?
Any illegal material is prohibited on MyAarzoo. In addition scams, fraud, spam, MLM schemes will be deleted.

Are for-profit or commercial postings allowed?
For-profit and Commercial posting can be posted under the Services category

I don't see a MyAarzoo for my region. Can you add one?
